Spirit Of A Dragon Velvet Robe

Takato Yamamoto coined the phrase ‘Heisei Estheticism’ to define his totally unique style, which uses incredibly detailed linework to depict human figures embroiled in dark, twisted scenes. This piece is from his book ‘Rib of A Hermaphrodite’, and brings to mind images of mysterious, dark gardens and inhuman creatures.

Even the simplest outfit becomes a showstopper when you add this epic velvet robe. You probably need like, a million of them.

Please note: this piece is designed to have the pile of the velvet running upwards, so as you run your hands downwards, it may feel rough (like a cat’s tongue). We use this direction so this print will look vibrant and amazing, just like you.

Note: This robe comes in two sizes: S and L. If you are size XXS–M, we recommend size S. If you are size L–XXL, we recommend size L.
